Girlguiding UK has a licence to use hand-held
private mobile radios with their own frequencies and allocated
call-signs.
The Association’s licence can be used for any
event throughout the United Kingdom, including the Channel Islands
and the Isle of Man.
Details, including the licence arrangements,
can be obtained from the Facilities department at Commonwealth
Headquarters by calling 0207 834 6242.
