Description
Experience all the fun of tobogganing, but on
a grass slope and with wheels instead of runners. The sledger
makes her way to the bottom of the slope with the help of gravity
while she attempts to maintain balance.

participate in this activity.

participate?
Open to all.
Some activity providers have height or weight
restrictions.
Ratio of adults to
girls
Normal ratios for activities away from the
meeting place are required.

Regulations
- The Leader must ensure that all participants
under the age of 18 have written permission to take part from an
adult with parental responsibility.
- The local Commissioner must be informed that
the activity is taking place.
- Carry out a risk
assessment for the activity.

qualifications
Not applicable.
Useful
information
- The safest way to carry out this activity is
one at a time, with the rider facing forwards.
- Participants will need to drag the sledge
back up the hill and should work in pairs to avoid back
injury.
- Participants must keep their hands inside the
sledge to avoid injuries.
